Weather forecast for next week

Only Tuesday seems sunny, so I suggest we film the wall, the park and the bridge. Rain is also interesting, so we just have to embrace the fact that it's going to be raining a lot next week.

As Katie said, we are probably going to film the café scene on Thursday or Friday.

Keep on thinking about the 10 seconds film for mobile phone (shapes and letters).

I'm still working on the timetable. It should be ready tomorrow night. I'll post it here on the blog.

If you think of anything else, let me know.

WIGS

When thinking of SOUND

Do you remember W. Raban's film from the Tower Trilogy called Sundial? Do you remember the very fast editing and how it worked with the sound from the street? I think we should use something similar for our left screen. Of course, in combination with voices of me and 6 different people.

Kids drawings

Okay so last night I asked my nephews (aged 5 and 7) to draw me a girl in a purple dress + something special. The first one aded loads of stars, the other fireglasses (whatever that is) LOL
Well I don't think this really helps lol but still it is interesting to ask children.
They would like to see the women hop on one leg along the streets of London XD.
That would be fun for you Klara. (imagine your feet after the shot : S )

Still thinking. ^^

Finchley

Quick thing first... for Battersea Bridge, I think it'd be good to film at dusk/twilight/whatever its called. I saw some pics and there's one of the bridge on a clear night and it looks really tranquil and isolated - despite how central it is.

Especially as it is near the suburbs and less busy at night this could be used as a 'dead London' kinda thing.

Anyway, Finchley was in the 6 areas of London on the map, right? I hope so because in Finchley they have a statue which I think could work really well with our piece. It's called La Delivrance, it's a war statue but unusually it is not depicting a British soldier, but a French woman. This would be good for the whole foreign identity thing as well if we're still using that.

Hello my beloved fellows!!!

Last weekend I was in Madrid to inhale some inspiration for our project. I went to see a few audio exhibitions and found some interesting theories that we can work with. I have also seen the exhibition of one video artist called Hannah Collins and I found some of the camera works she used very useful for the significance of CONTRAST in our project. I'll explain the details in one of our meetings.

Wuhuuuuuuu!!!

About number 6

"By a wonderful conjunction of mathematical coincidences, 6 is both the sum (1 + 2 + 3) and the product (1 × 2 × 3) of the first three numbers. It is therefore considered “perfect.” In mathematics, a perfect number is one that equals the sum of its divisors (excluding itself), and 6 is the first perfect number in this sense because its divisors are 1, 2, and 3. The next perfect number is 28. No odd perfect numbers are known, but it has not been proved that none exists. The perfection of 6 shows up in the six days of Creation in Genesis, with God resting on the seventh day. The structure of the Creation parallels the sum 1 + 2 + 3: on day 1 light is created; on days 2 and 3 Heaven and Earth appear; finally on days 4, 5, and 6 all living creatures are created."
What do you think? Pretty interesting, we can talk about its Symbolism.
